Our client is a national engineering and construction business which has a number of different specialist business units. With a rich history of major projects and satisfied clients they operate across a number of different client bases, both private and public.

They require a Division Manager to head up one of their specialist infrastructure businesses, Rail. Reporting into the national business manager, your role will involve growing the business unit from a financial perspective. You will help develop business plans and strategies to take this business unit to where it should be. You will have a strong background in business development, sales and?client interaction. Essentially you will be accountable for running the business, winning construction projects and making sure they are delivered on time and within budget.

The industry they are involved in is specific to the transport sphere, and is going through a major boom in Victoria. Therefore the ideal candidate must have a transport infrastructure background.

The ideal candidate will come from an?construction background and have a?history in delivering / involved in?construction projects. Ideally you will have an infrastructure background, roads, rail, maritime, buildings etc. You will be capable of delivering $30m worth of projects annually and increase this throughout the new financial year.
