David Beckham

David began his career playing for Manchester United, making his first team debut in 1992 at the age of 17. He made his England debut at the age of 21, and was captain from 15 November 2000 until the 2006 FIFA World Cup Finals. In 2003 he left United for Real Madrid, where he stayed for four seasons. On 1st July 2007 he signed a five-year deal with Los Angeles Galaxy and spent two loan spells in Italy with Milan in 2009 and 2010. In 1997 David started dating Spice Girl Victoria Adams, after they met at a charity football match. They announced their engagement in 1998 and were married on 4th July 1999. They have three sons: Brooklyn Joseph, born 4th March 1999, Romeo James, born 1st September 2002 and Cruz David, born 20th February 2005. They are expecting a daughter in summer 2011.David wears a new pair of football boots for every game he plays, at a cost of £300 per pair.
