ESPN Power Rankings Week 14 (NFL)

1. Texans They did it, last week the Texans got a huge win over the titens by actually showing their dominance. While the last two weeks they've made me sceptical, the Texans went out and took care of buisness. MY RANK (1)

The power rankings have a huge potential for shape-up with two of the confrences in the potential for being clitched. The Texans face the patiroits and the Ravens and Broncos have done poorly in confrence. Monday night rarely needs a reason to be watched but this one is huge argueably a "Game of the Year" type game.

 2. Falcons Once again the Falcons are in the top five which makes me chuckel in it of it self. The best win on the falcons schedule is their win over an uncordinated Broncos week two (which was only by 6) and a win over the Chargers. That is of course not including divisional play. So at the end of the day the only game on the falcons whole schedule that will tell us anything about how good they are is week 15 against the New Giants. MY RANK (9)

3. Patriots After a 3-3 start and everyone wondered if the Patriots we're still The Patriots they have one 6 strait and might just take the AFC from the Texans. With the best QB in the League combined with a dominant one- two at tight end that need to get healthy. An improving defense along with a solid running back core has made them the team to beat and the once again winners of the AFC east. MY RANK(2)

4. 49ers I had a hunch Collin would struggle however the performance he had was horrific. While they've looked poorly in some games its usually their quarter-back to blame. These aren't your granddaddy Niners. They are certainly a team to watch for the super bowl but I'm not sure if they have the QBs to get them there. MY RANK (4)

5. Broncos After their own 2-3 start many people wondered if Peyton was still Peyton that we knew. Now that he's found his rhythm Peyton might even look better than before. It's all about being hot late and nobody's hotter than the 7 win Broncos with two great options at running-back, a solid receiving core, and an underrated defense there's no doubt that the Broncos are scary. But you add in Peyton Manning to that mix, and its lights out. (3)
