Even though this is the part where I talk football this is a "sports" blog so I gotta talk somewhat about anther sport. Like MMA and most notibly the UFC. In case you missed last Saturday's event Ben Henderson def. Nate Diaz. Rory Macdonald def. BJ Penn. Guttaffasson def. Maricio Rua.
Now each win has a significant impact on their weight division.
First Gustaffasson's win means that Jon Jones's next opponent is set in stone Gustaffasson. With guys like Phil Davis an Ryan Badar losing their last fight. And Machida, Jackson, and Evans already given their chance Gustaffasson is no doubt Bones's next opponent.
Next Macdonald over Penn. penn will probably retire after this lost or maybe have onerous go around but either way it doesn't matter. But the guy to watch is Macdonald who's been called the next GSP however the real GSP is live a ready to defend his title. Much like the light heavyweight the welterweights next title fight is set in stone.
With Henderson's win the UFC might need to watch out. The last few years biggest fights was either lightweight or light heavywheight. With Edgar gone off with his Jose Aldo super fight the UFC's lightwieght division might be headed to Te crapper.
